There's nothing wrong with this pic in particular ,
We don't have to wear Nike caps, sweaty tracksuits and Balenciaga trainers if that's your definition of sense of styling
Then I'm lost for words sxb

People can wear anything and proportion their style as long as
they can maintain their psychical appearance

You can wear bootleg/original EA7 armani and still look like a gorilla lost in the concrete jungle

I sometimes wear durag and Rastafarian hats depending on the occasion

There's one right here!
I am Rastafarian myself but not spiritually.
Waanu badan nahay , we are a growing community hadaanu nahay reer Aw-Rastoole , growing dreads is a symbol for our struggles especially it effect each one individually ,
The ONLF freedom fighters are true example of their patriotism , AUN Elman a famous peace activist from Mogadishu was also part of this community , the Biiyomaal matyrs of jamaame and Jilib were dreaded warriors during the struggles against the Italian Imperialist.
The geeljire from Gabiley was a dreaded character and later joined the Dervishes
There were many even before colonialism in our gabay and geeraar reer timoweyne were legendaries

It doesn't mean we have to be spiritually connected with Rastafarism beliefs, Jamaican Rastafarians themselves know that Haile Selassie wasn't a god but only some have that particular belief .
but we are connected with our similar struggles and by dedication

I'd like to say this timaha raamaha existed during Nubian and Pharoanic ages , our ancestors Kush were dreaded

Unfortunately you arabized somalis have detached from your ancestors tradition and won't know shit marka enjoy wearing an Indonesian sarong and omani koofiyad looking like bunch of lost puppies

A real geeljire looked like this

Bruh, so you know that Ras-Tafari is based on " a specific interpretation of the Bible. Central is a monotheistic belief in a single God—referred to as Jah—. and that Haile Selassie is regarded as the Second Coming of Christ.

But that doesn't mean Rastafarianism isn't based on that.

And just because you got some pic with dreaded Somalis that doesn't make a part of our culture.

Our ancestors were in HOA during that, or you're a Kemetic?

Unfortunately you arabized Somalis have detached from your ancestors tradition and won't know shit
I know how our ancestors looked and this raamos aren't a part of our culture you are free to Afrocentric or what ever but don't make up shit about us. And somalis looked normaly like this.

How come both these guys can't seem to grow facial hair?

Ive seen that among my own family, it is like 50/50, some are smooth face, others can only grow goatees and some like me can grow a full beard.

Interesting genetics we have.

Most Somalis are beardless, the hair mostly grow on chin area like this guy
Simple-Short-Haircuts.jpg

Sometimes chin hair doesn't grow in good shape, so we shave it
