Somalis in melbourne?

I'm thinking of doing my masters in Melbourne. I wanted to know if Somalis have social clubs in the universities over there.

They do. My brother was in one but I'm not too knowledgeable about which ones do and don't.

Which universities are you looking into? The biggest Somali Society (and where most somalis go to) is at La Trobe University. I think Somalis at other uni's aren't large enough to form a society so they're in the Islamic society.

I know RMIT has a decent Somali community but I haven't heard of a society. I'll ask around. UniMelb has little to no somalis, very few.

Its quite difficult to get into, it is the most prestigious in Melbourne (top 2 in the country).
