Somalis how common is this ? ( Reddit topic )

I saw this on Reddit how common is this in you guys opinion
Cap especially as time moves on. Although MN is mostly Daroods with HG being the majority of Hawiye here. Largest group being Harti by far although we in the mix as well. I ain't gonna say to much cause I don't wanna dox myself. OG has solid presence as well.

Yeah its super cap people might wanna live around close family and friends but you’ll find Somalis of all different tribes living amongst each other in the west no problems

I'm not gonna cap to you if somalis aren't the same tribe they'll get along but it's gonna not click the same as to families of the same sub living near each other. Cause they'll be connected via extended family. People don't realize that clan = family. That's not necessarily qabyaalad, I look at it like a subscription with ina adeer being the super max tier hospitality wise.

Many Somalis had to stay with relatives or sub clan members when they first arrived and were waiting for their documentation.

The hagbad system also requires large numbers of people who are know to each other living in a certain locality to bring money every week.

yh it happens at least here in London
I dont think its qabiils living separately as it is more everyone somali i meet is isaaq or other unspecified northener. Council housing is allocated pretty randomly so i doubt people would be able to made qabiil enclaves.
More likely extended family sticks together like a comment said i can attest to that

In my area it's mostly isaaq or other northen tribes. You will find other clans aswell. My mum rarely interacts with outside her clan same with the other landers.

One of my neighours i remember hearing they are isaaq but my mum still talking to her. Secessionism brings tension i guess

Yeah even my mum disagrees with another northerner who's anti Somaliland (she's from Boroma) so my mum just really gets along with other isaaqs. I noticed in the uk qabil is a big thing compared to North America.

I don’t think so here in West London
Areas like Southall/Hayes have almost every Somali clan living it. That said, there are way more Hawiyes in Harlesden than Isaaq Dhulbahante (you will find them more in the Southall/Ealing area).. In some parts of east London, you will pretty much find certain Isaaqs clans due to seamen heritage and the first people fleeing 80s wars settling there. I believe some cadcads and barwani are more prominent up north London like some Hawiyes are.

Some Hawiye and cadcad seem concentrated around the A40 Stonebridge Xalwad corridor. They like being near sweet shops.

Overall,
There might a sight prominence of some clan In certain towns, but you really don’t have much choice as most Somalis are in council housing and you can be moved anywhere in the borough. This is why you will find Somalis from every clan living next to each other in some council estates. I think it this is healthy. Somalis raised here all chill out and inter marry.

In the 2000s and early 2010s I knew a few families that literally moved to states like Minnesota and Ohio right after they arrived to America. They all wanted to live closer to their other family members here in america. I honestly don't consider this a bad thing at all. I would have done the same thing if I was in their shoes.

Somalis are a small minority where I live, and I usually don’t know people’s clans unless they wear a Somaliland bracelet or are Benadiri. Based on that alone, I’d say the community here is quite mixed.
