Isnt even about 'striking fear' to the Swedish people/gov theyre just denouncing the recent Quran burnings that took place there and standing in solidarity with Swedish-muslim community that make up a very large % of the population.

They’re not smart at all.
Burning a Swedish flag (where there’s Somalis that lives in Sweden) would bring more xenophobia amongst the community of Somalis that lives in Sweden.
Sure they’re maybe trying to prevent islamophobia but that ain’t it.
We’re not even in the right position for this type of protest. Unless we can fix our own mess first.

If y'all only knew about the (never before seen) fear it has resulted in the Swedish gov't... As a result of the weirdo Dane burning the Quran in Sweden and subsequent worldwide reaction, they are literally panicking and on their knees. On tuesday, they gov't has called and invited all opposition parties to an extraordinary/uncommon national security meeting regarding "legitimate threats against Sweden and Swedish interests abroad". Which is rare (and to some surprising) due to the polarizing political climate here.

The mainstream media here has been portraying non-stop dystopian scenarios, for what this will entail for swedes. They discussed, from refraining all travel to countries with a sizable muslim population (even western ones...), to not revealing that you are Swedish when you travel abroad and meet certain foreigners. The panic-mode is beyond crazy here... Crazy times, kkkkk
As a sidenote, the same man has pledged to burn a Quran every week in front of Turkish embassy (this time in Denmark) until Turkey allows Sweden into Nato, "to teach Erdogan about freedom of speech"....

The far-right party SwedenDemocrats (SD), as a supporting coalition of the right-wing gov't, came out surprisingly with this statement: "If they (muslims) get upset, burn a hundred more (Qurans)".

And caused more uproar, since this plays into Erdogan, objecting Nato membership even more. Despite this gov't being very much anti-islam (a main part of their election manifestations, to fight against "Islamism" and everything related to islam tbh), they tried to appease muslims by apologizing. By these two tweets. (Look at the QTs in Swedish)
To which SD got mad, even other party officials of the gov't parties, showed fierce reaction by doubling down. And criticism for not standing up against, "Islamist tendencies of intolerance". It also came out that the entire, birth of an idea (burning Quran), came from a top SD media personality (employed by their channel), and even arranged this entire debacle. Which has caused more uproar here in the gov't, since they are also pro-Nato and inflicted borderline gov't crises. And now the gov't coalition causing its own demise. Things are not so well here, also when factoring with major internal issues...

Funny how you believe that we shouldn’t practice freedom of speech and protest against the islamophobic actions of swedes but they can use “freedom of speech” to burn the quran.

Because I did stated: that I’m aware of the islamophobia they have for them in Sweden.
The people in the video who are burning a Swedish flag: in a country where there’s a lot of Somalis that receives their benefits and trust would bring more separatism and animosity.

You’re suggesting to do nothing, that the muslim world shouldn’t have a response to the state sponsored islamophobia of sweden. We can’t be timid when these people are burning the Qur’an and must speak up against them by burning their hideous flag but you want us to be quite because it may affect somalis in sweden? so much for democracy and freedom of speech, they can burn the quran and if we do speak up against it then we will face consequences.

It may not affect you but It will obviously effect other somalis and will spark a of lot anti-Somali sentiments.
