In the past, when the Gulf countries were mere barren deserts, Somalia stood out as the first in Africa and the 15th power in the world. During that era, the UAE used to offer free citizenship to Somali expats. However, some declined the offer as the Somali passport held more weight in the Muslim world at that time. Reflecting on those times, it's evident how circumstances have changed significantly.
Fair point, but which region in Somalia was donating aid and charity to the Arabs? I am genuinely curious. Yes, the vast majority of the land in the Gulf countries is barren and not suitable for arable farming. The Arabs were very keen on developing Somalia's agriculture sector, particularly along the banks of the Shebelle and Jubba rivers. For example, the Arabs of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries poured in $188 million into the Juba River sugar project.

I asked a genuine question, and now you are slandering me. I only asked which region in Somalia was donating charity and aid to the Arabs. Most of Somalia's land is harsh, arid, and unsuitable for arable farming. May Allah forgive and guide you. I was only looking for clarification.

It was from the port of Zaylac the goats and camels were being put onto ships and sent to Arabia. Somalis donated livestock to feed Arabia during its famine.

Check my post, it’s the second one on the thread. It says what regions gave aid.

We were apart of the Arab League at that time, as @Scipio Africanus said, Arab Brotherhood 😂 👏

People always post this. In reality the Barre regime was being kept afloat by Arab donations from Saudi, Iraq, Kuwait. This was in various forms from cash to oil

Which region in Somalia was giving charity and aid to the Arabs? What year were the Somalis giving aid to the Arabs? The Arabs were giving vast amounts of charity and aid to Somalia even during the military regime of Said Barre. Most of Somalia's land is harsh, arid, and not suitable for arable farming. Somalia is also a victim of yearly droughts. How is it possible that we would give aid to the Arabs when the resources we have can barely sustain and feed our people?

The Arab League gave $100 million to Somalia for their rehabilitation program in June 1975. The Soviet Union has also provided Somalia with six large transport planes and moved 18,000 nomadic refugees to farm areas in the South.

'Our people' bro weren't you exposed for being habesha or sum 🤣 🤣

There is a lot of questions left to answer about Somali culture.

Like the accounts made by explorers about our cuisine or our clothing is completely different to what it is today.
Before the colonial era there was no country called Somalia, we as people existed but had many different smaller kingdoms/sultanates.

That's literally most people before the 1800s. Nationalism creating a state based on one ethnicity, language and culture wasn't a concept before the French revolution spread it throughout Europe and later the world. Before in Europe countries were based on royal houses and the lands their acquired. The average person was indifferent as long as they continued to farm and paid their tax to whoever protected their farms.
