Because our version isn't being worn anymore and it can easily be brought back into popularity because who wouldnt want to wear that as opposed to the macawis everyone goes about in now adays.
the problem is instead of manufacturing and bring back our traditional designs and wear we instead wear other peoples cultural wear when we have our own but no one want to make them anymore. Only the women's stuff is being done but on the guys side no one is bothering to bring back our traditional clothing. I'm asumming within the next 10 years there will be a revival but until then your just gonna have to deal with getting clowned until someone steps up.

Maybe you can step up and bring it all back the women all the somali clothing have the industry knowledge someone need to hit them up for advice or partnership/investments for men's clothing
