Wallahi I will let her use my disneyplus, netflix, amazon, and apple tv subscriptions as long as she promises not to watch Kdramas (for some reason we xalimo's are addicted to this stuff). The way I learned English was not just with school, but watching cartoons and TV.
She has the passion and it's commendable that she speaks English as well as she does in a country that primarily speaks Somali. That's a big feat to accomplish.
I think she's doing pretty good. I think this is normal when you're learning a language. You don't just immediately speak it perfectly, at first you can't speak it at all then you can sort of speak it but you sound funny to native speakers. That's where she's at. You keep going and eventually you can speak it pretty well. I think she's on the right track, she just has to keep going. I think she just needs more practice and she should listen to how English speakers talk so she can imitate how it sounds.
