It's nice to see us broadening our relations especially with the enemies of the Islamist Dictator Erdogan. I want to see us with the Israelis next. God bless the Kurds in their fight against the Mongolian Turks.

Kurdistan will be free :gunsmiley::dj:

Don't need recognition to get a country developed, hopefully Somaliland learns a thing or two from the Kurds

I'm telling you the Kurds don't have anything in common with Somalilanders, rather ONLF or DDSI or NFD. They are part of larger non Kurdish developing countries which they drain funds from and make their economic ties grow stronger.

Somaliland is secession-ism from a Somali nation. If the Kurds had a nation, there would definitely not be a secessionist group in it.

Beautiful cities. I was very surprised at their capital and the level of development. But they do have oil

Nothing Secessionist about Somaliland we were the first Somali nation state we are dissolving a Union. Secondly our aspiration for our own countries is common enough.

We don't need recognition if we develop and build our country like this.

You guys don't understand. It's been 25 years and Somaliland is developing at a slow rate with a GDP lower than Djibouti but a country 6 times the size of it.

Why is that?

Why is Kurdistan Region or even Somali Region of Ethiopia developing at a fast rate. The latter having been stable for a couple of years?

Because both are part of big developing recognised countries with a huge GDP. Kurdistan especially having the ability and pleasure of residing in 4 countries with recognition. It's not something Somaliland has

Question to Landers. If recognition fails. Will the time come to join Ethiopia on paper?
