Send us your best to help Puntland. Stop sending us your terrorists in galgala. If I was President I would snap up these ppl plus all the elderly across somalia who remember a government and concentrate them into PL to provide their advice.

I would tell this guy, kama soo bixi kartid SL as a leader due to the fact it's still run by rebels, come to PL and help and thru that example you will help SL indirectly when they see your wisdom in PL.
Don't die idly in SL with ur wisdom and limit your wisdom there, u can help SL by indirectly helping other regions

I would help this guy equip him with the areas that boost GDP by careful selection of industries with good markets and purchasing power. I would provide him with a list of industry shortages in the developed world and markets, a list of developing market shortage industry. The human capital or infrastructure needed and govt ties needed to open those markets.
I wud preach my banking philosophy showing how central it is to have financial infrastructure to support loans to locals to pursue business start ups, to tap into diaspora/foreigners who can store their capital and fuel partnerships to tap into industries.
Any economic philosophy around GDP needs to demonstrate how it will create 'jobs', mass jobs so this can lead to a wealthier population. I would advise him that the 'value' pie of investment into industries and their revenues and how it's distributed needs govt intervention or else it may all go to the top and the bottom get nothing and not support consumerism or spending and halting GDP growth.
GDP growth is linked to mass consumerism and mass spending not 1% rich who do not mass-spend or mass consume, so the value-pie of all investment needs to be distributed in a manner that leads to spending, when spending happens, more supply chain growth happens and more new business response is possisble
