Bro why you talking like you're not Somaliland too? I hear Madaxweyne Trump's coming to you rescue :lolbron::russ::mjlol:
Aren't you MX Why tf are you coming in this? And instead of siding with me you side with idooor and shoot shots at me?

What's with you and your burning jealousy for dhulbahante, that you'd take shots at me while I'm arguing with an idooor? Have some shame, I won't even waste time with you.

rain fall does not really mean anything if it isn't utilized for agricultural purposes, posting pictures of decaying grass lands is also pretty dumb, post pictures of farms or actual agriculture projects.

Most of rains form season rivers and wash away the nutrition on the top soil anyway, and in the south the rains actually kill people and property in annual flooding, rain can be your friend but it can sure as hell also be your enemy. Rain also barely refills the groundwater in places where people cut down trees for charcoal, it just destroys the environment even more.

@Helios come look at this map of water sources in somalia

View attachment 129841

The orange circles show just how sparse water sources are in Somaliland, outside of hargeisa, is almost all arid desert. Just like I said.

Now look at the pink in the dhulbahante region. Hundreds of wells all clustered up in Xudun, Laascaanoo, Buhoodle, and Talex.

Now tell me, which is better??

I don't know what they brainwashed you with in idooor land, but Most of SL outside of Awdal region, SSC, and Hargeisa. Is mostly arid and drought prone.

If SSC doesn't get rain, fine. We have rich undergroud wells. Hundreds of them. Can't say the same about SL though :pachah1:
LOOL, this finally shut him up.

He's probably out there desperately showing proof that SL is a lush jungle like they taught him in idooorland lmao.

Thank god for our giant wells in SSC alx.

In hargeisa, the houses there had tanks of water that you had to refill. In laascaanood, our houses LITERALLY had wells inside them. Laascaanood was literally built on top of a giant aquifer, most houses had a straight up hole were you got a rope and caag, and fetched water from there

If your land is packed to the brim with wells why tf is it so gaajo and sparsely populated? Obviously the Hargeisa district and near Borama is packed since that's where the best land in the Waqooyi is lmao. I'm not denying Ceel Afweyn and that area is empty geeljires just walk around there

Thats not smart though, it pollutes the ground water and can also deplete it with over use, right now in Caabudwaaq we have too many wells, water isn't an issue as the water table is so high there, but in the long term water needs to be managed and not freely used until at least we get some sort of sustainable system, like water purification management like western countries have.

Hargaisa has severe water shortage and Burco is even worse, there is acute famine in Burco there so food is also issue for them, but what I am trying to say Laascanood can very well turn out to be like Hargaisa in the future if people continue to abuse the ground water with unlimited usage.

Lol I clearly shut you up when you started big talks about SL being fertile and arable. I told you only around hargeisa it is, yet you brought an argument that you couldn't win.

Now for sparsely located? Are you a dunce? I looked at the geebiley district image, literally 90% of those settlements aren't even towns, they're sh*ttier than even tuulos. And you're trying to count them as towns or something, come on now. Even an idiot would know tuulos like those would be accounted for when it's just a few kms away from a major city like hargeisa :ummhmm:

You specifically picked that district didn't you? :umad:

Sool is incredibly packed with tuulos, towns, and cities. They're just not accounted for. The last time data was collected there was in 2005, bucko.

As for the sool being the poorest region? Wasn't that map thrown around countless times? Remember what happened to you the last time you used an old wooky map as fkd material?

It's the new age, you can find data from 2020 (if it exits). Watch me get it rn, and have you switching topics even faster.

Just face it. SL is a failed state. That's why they so desperately cling onto SSC

Wells don't deplete easily. Especially the ones in deserts.

Sool is in a basin, meaning when it rains, and water seeps through sand and soil. All the water will gravitate towards the center of the basin, into large aquifers and wells. Grade 9 geography.

Those wells have been recorded for centuries, I've seen records of them used even back in 19th-20th century. They're not depleting any time soon. It's always getting refilled with rainfall.

The people don't even abuse it. It's used as reserve water, a lot of the water is gained from rainfall, the well is only used for maybe a quick sip from locals or when it doesn't rain. People aren't stupid.

"Note: The poverty incidence of each region includes IDP settlements. The boundaries on the map show approximate borders of
Somali pre-war regions and do not necessarily reflect official borders, nor imply the expression of any opinion on the part of
the World Bank concerning the status of any territory or the delimitation of its boundaries. Source: Authors’ calculation." :ummhmm:

Not only do these have almost no meaning to today's real borders, the poverty rates aren't even real data. It's the author's calculation. Those are literally just the sources.

Do you really think they have accurate data of poverty in somalia BY region?

I'm not bullshitting anything this poverty map is literally from the World Bank report in 2017

Even if the "authors" made this they're academics and economists lmao. It's credible, the "regions" bit means that on paper Mudug exists for example but in reality it's actually split in half between PL and Galmudug but lumped as one for statistics.

You seem to like selectively deciding when to accept data as true. Had the stats shown the opposite you'd be waving it at my face. Notice how I haven't attacked the credibility of anything you showed me? Clearly one of us is scared about something

This very same report shows that PL is doing better on economic inequality and poverty than SL is doing and I'm not going to deny that.

There's no dodging this L Sool is the worst region in the Waqooyi, you can make whatever excuse you want to cope with this.
