I remember one time I was riding through hargeisa and a deranged mirqaan askari tried to intimidate me. I threw a bundle of khat on the ground and while he went to dive for it I drove off.

It makes sense. A lot of the soldiers all over Somalia are drug addicted (only a drug addict will die for $100 a month) anyway.

True that what sad state of affairs Jeegan is a failure . My rule for anyone in Hargeisa is to always keep a bundle of khat on you, you never know when you’ll need a distraction
