A lot of the Landers that are pushing for this arenβt Oromo and donβt have a speck of Oromo blood. Anyone that has been to Hargesia and Burco can tell you how much they hate and discriminate against Oromos and Musa Bixi is as Somali as they come. Heβs a Habr Awal man. We need to stop this fake slander of saying Isaaqs have Oromo in them and face the facts that many of those extreme crazies amongst us are indeed proper Somali but are fueled with unhinged hatred of Southerners and misinformation. I know this from actual close contact and being mostly around them.
The issue at hand is the rampant resentment and victim complex. However, this intense feeling will lead to what many on this forum are worried about. When youβre willing to side with foreigners at the expense of your own, it will lead to eventual downfall.

It's common knowledge in the North West that Sacad Muse, Habar Awal have Oromo assimilatants and they intermarry with Akisho and Jaarso.
That means nothing since the Oromos that have been absorbed supposedly have been diluted though generations. Somalis of the past used to take Oromo wives and concubines.
Habr Awal are Somali and have always been Somali. This is just straight up slander. Reer Hargesia, a place filled with Habr Awal, is known for rampant Oromo hatred and discrimination. Anyone that has lived there or has family and friends can tell you this for free. The Saad Muse are also well known and have a history filled with trade and at one point used to control Zaylac as the Amir of the city.

I think their problem is that they can't understand why anyone would would want to split off from them. Their minds conclude these people must not be Somali and then go searching for any shred of evidence that supports their emotional conclusions. It's beyond debate.
When Somaliland leaves they will conclude that Isaaq were never Somali and so they never really lost anything.
Doubt it. I donβt like their attitudes and lying about the parentage of a group of people but some Landers have been absolutely disappointing. We all know that many have always wanted their own nation but some of just gone overboard. Anyways, I just canβt stand misinformation. Reer Burco and Hargesia are probably the most Anti-Oromo group and back home marrying them is seen as a massive taboo let alone a whole Qabil who have for centuries been known as Somali being amongst them.

He was a ruler. Amir is another word which signifies rulership. I become confused with this qabil. I do roughly remember Burton describing him as an Amir although he was a governor.
But in saying that, Habr Awal have got nothing to do with Oromos. Many at the time used to take on Oromo concubines and wives. If theyβre Oromo, then so are many border Somali tribes.

The greatest disservice is to ignore the threat, pretend it is not happening, only to discover when it is too late.

There's actual laf's in Habar Awal that are assimilated Oromo. Afran Qallo tried expanding into Woqooyi Galbeed & got defeated by HA near Gabiley were those oromo settled as clients and still live.
