Somaliland Ministry of Energy and Mining has officially begun drilling the first oil well in October

Minister of Energy and Mining, Abdullah Farah Abdi, sent technical teams to both Togdheer and Sool regions to begin drilling the first oil well in Somaliland. The ministry's delegation, led by Deputy Director of the Oil Department Bashir Adam Haji Diriye, included employees from the oil department as well as officials from Genel Energy Oil Company. The delegation visited the Tawsoni-1 site, where construction work is already underway, as well as 11 other sites where work will be carried out in the near future.

The delegation also visited the villages and towns surrounding the area and met with the local residents to inform them about the ongoing work.

I do not think that extracting oil in an African country will make it be come like the Emirates or Qatar, as it will end up with corruption like the rest of the Africans

Caynaba doesn’t belong to HJ it’s a shared district

It will be excavated in the cops area north of caynaba and other in odawayne And why is there no oil? Do you have a source that says this?
