All of that water is going to the Red Sea. The water conservation should be a top priority. This should be a prerequisite for any major agricultural development.

MaashaAllah, these rains have been a real blessing. A significant number of people's lives would have been in jeopardy without them.

Next step source the wheat for the flour mills locally. The experiments underway in Burco and Wajaale look promising masha Allah. The rain forecast looks good as well, they should take advantage!
