What does the Sland military?
I only hear of them when they are oppressing clans in the region and fighting with PL. What is their purpose? Do they just sit down eating khat all day? Or do they go out on missions outside sland territories? Does it have a special forces unit like the sna? Or is it just a bunch of militants dressed the same to give the appearance of an army? Do they have fighter jets? Is their a system for them in place? Do they get paid? From my point of view it is just a bunch of people dressed the same to walk the infamous 18 may parade and not actually doing shit. How does Djibouti bully Sland? Why not send the army to the Djibouti city state and lay siege on them for sending random missiles to Sland territories? Why only focused on Pl? Is Djibouti to big of a opponent to battle? These are a lot of questions hope ya'll answer them.

The army is decentralised into regions there are 5 units each with its own commander and structure.

They're just there to keep the peace, there's no need for them in areas where borders are already agreed too.

The only conflict prone areas of Sanaag now and the border area around Garowe. But Somaliland has kept the same philosophy since riyaale days where they don't take over a new area by force without getting at least half the people on side.

That's how they took care of most of Sool and all the surroundings of Buuhoodle Town

And despite failing in Sanaag few months back as the big offensive was not loved by the people, they switched back. And now are touring East sanaag as of 3 days ago started construction of a hospital in Dhahar. If we build up then we can slowly push in.
