Somaliland Highway Through Clan Lenses

To find out how much land each clan owns in Somaliland, the best and reliable measurement is land holdings and the most 'accurate' method is the high-way as anyone can go and verify for themselves.

I must admit my calculation doesn't include Borama to Lowyaddo becuz it's not a 'direct' horizontal line and is accumulating more KM then the real land mass. I substitute Berbera-Hargeisa distance in it's place as mostly accurate.

But from Borama to Hargeisa it's 118 KM travel time and it's mostly a straight line but not all of it. I'll give the langaabs that thru Dr Osman Sadaqo.

From Hargeisa to Berbera it's 157 KM. I won't include their 'triangle' route to Burco as it 'clocks' up more KM then the land is worth. So I took Hargeisa to Berbera route and applied a direct line from Hargeisa to Burco, so it's 157 KM in reality if you went in direct line from Hargeisa to Burco and eliminating Berbera.

From Burco to Oog is a fairly straight line and it's 151 KM

Samaroon land so far;

Borama to Somali Border = 150 KM
Borama to Gabiley = 62 KM
Total = 220 KM

Isaaq Land so far;

Gabiley to Hargeisa= 57 KM.
Hargeisa to Burco = 157 KM.
Burco to Oog = 151 KM
Total = 350 KM

Dhulbahante Land;

Oog to Buro Wadal = 200 KM

As u can see if u added Makhir/Khatumo your talking 500 KM worth of land. If you add Samaroon/Isaaq together do they match it. That's why I always say, Harti-Waqoyi iyo Dir Waqoyi

If these Irir cowards are hell bent on a Somaliland. Be warned intu Niin Majerten nool yahay ma yeelayo wax ka hoseeyo harti waqoyi iyo dir waqoyi powersharing where everything is 50/50, do not expect anything less ama ma aha somaliland reality ah but a fake somaliland which will fall. Plus PL will demand that this new SOMALILAND la wada lee yahay is part/parcel of Somalia.

Realistically tho this will be going against our federal model with 'clan' characteristics since Somalis are clans and our civil war was a mix of clan and political issues not colonial borders. Any solution outside this 'somali political characteristic model' is already going against our vision for Somalia nation rebuilding.

China became successful when they applied chinese characteristics to their system and we as puntite demand that any model in Somalia that is outside Somali characteristic or foreign will not win our support but only gain our venom and disgust that people are still seeking to prolong the civil war(more foreign systems).
