Untill such time we will work within the legal realities of Somalia. That's what u shud of said. 1.

It's actually addressing a clan reality on the ground and genuine grievances from your own egal-abdillahi issa union. Plus u acknowledge the legal realities of Somalia borders. Plus u keep ppl at bay that u will seek independence thru LEGAL MEANS.

@Internet Nomad I am not denying your ppl have greviances whether real or not is for the experts to debate but I know the Isaaq(Habar awal) have independence aspirations. I don't deny the REALITY.

But I wud tell SL elite, keep your independence aspiration as constitutional but also work within Somalia legal borders. Becuz if u dont respect the legal borders of Somalia, why are u asking anyone to respect Isaaq borders? U see the dilemma.

I would add that SL will seek its independence aspirations thru state dialogue between Mogadishu and Hargeisa, while respecting the current legal borders of the nation. This wud keep ur locals stabilized that independence is still on the table but u will pursue it thru LEGAL MEANS. Plus if you worked as a positive force in the nation showing ur state credibility, it might even streghthen your independence aspirations to Somalis and the world.

That's what I wud tell SL elites. It would be a dharbaaxo siyasadeed to Somalia. Especially post 2004 when the SFG arrived, they needed to update their policy game from one way secession model, they should've declared that in 91. Saying we are apart of somalia and wait for a somali govt to come into existence to discuss our independence aspirations. It would've been a huge dharbaaxo siyasadeed. Cuz 1 u respect the reality of borders and asking your aspirations to be respected also. Plus if u added positivity towards Somalia, it would give ur state it's positive trackrecord to the nation and therefore it wud be used towards your State CV.

SL arguing they have independence aspirations would've kept their locals stable, SL arguing it respects the current clan borders of Somalia gives it credibility that their border should be respected also while addressing the nation collapsed to clan n power dynamics. SL arguing it will be positive force in somalia state recovery would increase it's state track record for the I.C and Somalis to observe.

Finally SL arguing thru it's positive contributions in somalia recovery we want to swap that for independence from the SFG thru two way dialogue following the rule of law. If they simply said all that and did it, it would be a very scary situation for Somalia to respond to. Infact I wish PL did that come to think of it.

your borders are known to you! your camel herders know the exact point when you are trespassing just incase you don’t know..
