It is funded and promoted by Western NGO's as part of their war on Islam.

Anytime you hear a story about an Imam or especially Quran teacher raping a child you should be skeptical until there is clear and undeniable evidence. Really that should be the case with anyone but especially Islamic teachers as there is a clear agenda.

There is a recent uptick by these NGO's promoting this and this is the third exposed as false in the last few months.

They want parents to stop sending their children to dugsi as in Somalia all children start with dugsi until they complete the Quran, that is the education system. They want them in secular schools.
