Somalias Water and Waste Management

This year was my first time in Somalia, Mogadishu to be exact. I really couldn't describe the feeling,it was like a mixed of emotions.I was so excited to be there i didn't even want to sleep despite me being so tried. But under all the beauty of Mogadishu there was something that made me a little sad, and you can probably tell by the title of this thread what it is. Somalis water conditions is i'm sure doing better than before but i listened to a lot of people tell me how unsafe their drinking water is there, and that to me really disappointed me. And just seeing how many plastic bags are stuck along the fences, i do not want us living in these conditions anymore and i feel that should be the number one thing the Somali citizens should be getting. I know us Somali diaspora always have something good to share. What do you guys think about this..... engineer's people who working in the waste management industry??

This is only happening because of laziness. If every single individual were to volunteer their time and clean up the city, it would be clean (if they also came together to fix the al kebob problem they would be gone as well but that's a topic for another day).

Untapped business ideas and resources. Its a matter of time and will.

I know, but dont you think the whole water situation should be the governments responsibility as that is what they signed up for.

Building a waste management industry is costly and not worth it. Everything on this earth is "finite", so we cant rebuild it, over and over again. The reason for my harsh asnwer, is that Somalia is not stable, too many outside factors controlling it. Plus this evil clan Rulers wont accept happiness for everyone. We need to prioritize purging wicked tribe leaders from the inside, plus replacing them with better ones. After that, focus on purging people being paid by the Arabs to destabilise Somalia. Then throwing out USA Killer drones, because it is hurting us in the long run. There are a lot more Al-shabab recruitments because of its merciless killings of herders. Same thing with Amisom. Injustice being done to the small tribes has been an epidemic. If we dont fix that, Somalia wont ever be stabile. Customary law should be outlawed, Islamic law should be implemented. Because Democracy wont ever work for ruthless people like us. Democratic elected leader by tribal regional leaders will work a lot better. The result will be a Halal elected Dictatorship .

To make a waste management industry, you have to start with making basic metal factories. Plus you need other countries expertise. Thats why Somalia need allies (Not China, USA, France, Iran, UK and Arabs). Most likely Japan, South korea or Russia. But there has to be a mutual benefit involved in the trade. The basic foundation of a country is the most expensive part. The rest will come naturally. Everything we have learned from our Allies will be applied in other industries. Making our own military weapons and drones. Concentrating in making rural areas modern instead of urban. Its more costly, but the endgame will be that there will be less crime and more community orientated people. Universities will be inbetween rural towns. Trains will be the main transport of students in rural areas.

Making a united tribes of somalia, U.T.S. Where every tribal state becomes one country. Somaliland, Puntland, Jubbaland etc. Will be dismantled in further tribal states for less corruption. Arable land will be used to make Somalia stable in food, no more importing from other countries. South Somalia will be priority for farming. So we can be self-sufficent if sanctions ever occurs. Mines will be made in North Somalia, to extract minerals and valuable materials. Making our own refinements factories so we can export the finished product to other countries ourselves, for more profit. Going further will be to make our own factories for phones and cars. No more Chinese imported crap, in our midst.

When we are stable with no injustice inside our borders, will the next phase be initiated. Upgrading our military, to rival other countries. Reverse engineering imported Russian or Turkey military weapons. After we accomplish most of our goals, we will look outwards and repossess other Somali regions in neighbouring countries. This will lower our overall economical stability, but it will be worth it. Increasing our countries land mass, will make us much closer to neighbouring countries Capital Cities. Putting military base close to Nairobi by placing it in Isiolo. Same thing in Addis Ababa by placing it in Ogaden Area.

Last Phase will be proxy wars in Middel east. Rebuilding Iraq, Syria, Kurdistan and Yemen. Libya is a shithole, let them stay like that.

Time Development of U.T.S (United Tribes Somalia) will be 20 years. War against Ethiopa will be easy with so much tribal instability. Same thing with Kenya. But only if NATO, USA, China and Russia does not intervene. Hopefully they are at war with each other and we will be ready to annex Kenya and Ethiopia as our own country. :siilaanyolaugh:. Then we will place Christian terrorist groups as a distraction, while we borrow their resources.:russ:

Yes and no. Governments should give the money to the locals or those who wish to build the water management and watch from the sidelines. FGS are already hands full and don't have money, so how will that work?

Governments sign up to protect the constituents. They cannot do anything of it is built and the people do not want to take care of it.
