Somalia's Minister of Transport & Civil Aviation meets with Chinese officials after Somaliland closes its airspace

I know what iidoor means it comes or is derived from kabadhe iidoor which was coined by the Ogaden , but context is everything its origin it’s a derogatory term. But Somalis make it how hard is it to use the rightful name of the clan Isaaq. Darood hawiye. Ciise gadabuursi digil mirifle gaadsan sure . Magyars saxda hala isticmaalo that’s how we cure qabyalaaad. And it starts with us

Idoor is actually not that "derogatory" term as the Ogaden nomads came up with it as they used to deal with Sacad Muuse traders and it got to include all Isaaqs and Daaroods began calling them by that term.

But you have to know is not really acceptable for non Daaroods to use it as it would really be dumb for them to do to act like they're Daaroods who got "history" with Isaaqs when they don't.

Its not a derogatory term. Its derived from "ii" "dowr" which means something along the lines of "look for it for me" in the business context when asking a business trader to source or look for an item for you that you want to purchase from them. Its a nickname when referring to Isaaq.

Its only used as a substitute for isaaq that's it.

Galla is the real ethnic name of the Oromo it was only in 1972 Galla gathered in Addis the tulama borana Bareentu and others and said we officially go by the name Oromo this was during the hey days of the late king haile sellasie the first. Its not a derogatory term though some Amhara extensor use it as such but it is the historic name of the Oromo and they have been known as Galla through out the last 3 centuries

idoor isn't offensive it's just a nickname, the same way ogaden's are called cagdheer.

Even if some somalis use it as a derogatory term it doesn't matter because the meaning is not offensive. It's the same way non somalis use "somalian" as a derogatory term even though it has no negative meaning.

Was Hutu coined 100 years ago to refer to Hawiye clans? isn't that also an online made derogatory term with no history in somali language?
So you just make up your own rules? Who cares if it is from 100 years ago or whether it’s an online or offline derogatory term?
