They shouldve changed their strategy from isolationism to establishing widespread influence with somalis instead of simping for foreigners.

yeah not only do the territories they claim contain a lot of historical cities and nice artefacts(if proper archeology is done), there's also a lot of beaches and fertile land far north in awdal(places like boorama). waqooyi could genuinely become the cultural hub of somaliweyne.
