Somalia's Future [Hypotheticals]

What would Somalia be like if it were to be divided into clan-based societies or regions? Who would dominate the Horn of Africa [in infrastructure, economy, a well-functioning government, and political stability]? And finally, would a divided Somalia be better than Somaliweyn?

I personally have never been to the country, and I don't grasp tribalism to any extent. However, I always thought that it would be 100 times easier to advocate for your clan's regions than overall Somalia. Somaliweyn is better, though, because of its diverse geography.

If independent clan states were to form, the fact of the matter is. That economically they would be dominated by their neighbours, as well as rely heavily on said neighbours for military support / protection. When will we realise that if we are divided, we are weak and at the mercy of our enemies.

A divided Somalia wouldn't stand a chance. While they bicker among themselves our neighbors would take key lands for themselves. Any notion that separate somali clan states would be functional is hilarious, they'd be going back to 12th century feudalism and would soon realize how stupid they were. A united Somalia is the one true way to ensure the continued existence of our people. One nation of one people with one culture and one faith under Allah. That can only come about with the fostering of nationalism and I mean radical nationalism, a us vs them mentality that forces clans to be pit aside for the sake of the whole.
