I agree he was failure . 1990s was low point of Somalia history and it happened on his watch. He made to many missteps like Ogaden war then letting rebels like USC run wild.

The reason why I am biased towards 80/70s period is because my parents went to school in xamar. Bosaso port was built back then which made Bari rich when all the ports shutdown due to war and financed formation of puntland. Most roads and dams was built back then by Somalia as a nation. All this happened 1960 to 1990. Today we sell our ports and ocean to foreigners so they can do upgrades and pocket most money. Plus Somali back home sucking us dry if we didn’t send billions back home we will see true sad state of country.

Kulaha most roads were built by FGS. What road have they built? For instance, the roads in SL and PL were either built by the Kacaan in some parts and mostly by themselves post 90s.
