I would submit to y'all Somaliland is the English word for the Italian word Somalia i.e. Somalia is Somaliland. lowkey suggesting y'all don't use that Italian word, especially when you speak English. Perhaps a new name is needed either before or after reunufication of the South and North

Cadal will be neutral between all languages and ethnicities. AfMaxaaTidhi and Barwaani and AfMaayTedhe are all Cadali languages. Just like how Mahari and Shexriiya and Arabic are all Yemeni/Omani languages. Look at this Omani speaking TWO Omani languages:

Luughadda Shexriiya iyo luughadda Carabiya. @Apollo notice some archaic Semitic sounds mispronounced as SHIIN and QAF in Arabic.

Definitely not Somaliland, every time I see non Somalis talking about it, they always say it sounds like a pirate themepark.

Don't want anything with "Land" at the end. Also how are these cadaans supposed to pronounce "Cadal", unless you want to just call it Adal.
