Somalia to receive Debt Relief

This is a crucial step necessary for the rebuilding effort of Somali institutions. We are committed to the rise of Somalia and with the support of our international partners we will once again be given access to the world bank/IMF in its entirety.

Head of World Bank met with the President and Finance minister today as well. It's a testament to the hard work this administration has put in, that the leaders of the world financial institutions acknowledge the sweeping reforms and growth in Somalia.

This is commendable and if they wipe that century old debt from us, our credit ratimg will jump to the roof. It will be fresh start and we'll have access to low interest loans and the FDI will just pour in.
we should undertake Grand Marshal plan followed by the double digit economic growth, cobbled with yearly single digit IQ increase:siilaanyosmile:
Let the haters hate:fittytousand:and watch the money pile up.

If Farmajo just focused development and stayed above the fray, he cudave gone down as the GOAT but he squandered his political capital by throwing fits at every turn instead of riding the goodwill tide :snoop:.

but then again he must've bitten off more than he can chew. it seems hat after post selection fanfare he's been struck by instant PTSD:pachah1:courtesy of @Lex Luther and his adeero

Let's not muddy this thread with nonsense.

The FGS is beginning to make initiatives that'll last for a long time, starting with curbing corruption and making steady growth in the formal economy. Debt relief will definitely give them a lot of leeway to speed up development, but that is to come. There are many groups that are threatened by the resurrection of governance as they believe their ill-gotten gains will be confiscated. They will try and cause a raucous to try and delay the efforts of institutional building and return of law, but we will not cater to the whims of criminals which is why this administration will likely get reelected. In the western world most leaders cement their legacies through two terms and in Somalia this admin has already been one of unprecedented work ethic. I believe it starts at the top with the President and Prime minister being on the same page in terms of governance which has been lacking in the past administrations whom switched their pm's and ministries on a few occasions which put a dent into local and international trust for "Somalia".

Waryaa iga qallee, This is aconstructive criticism. i wish nothing but success to whoever is at the helm of our govt and country even if they mess up as long as they're willing to correct themselves, solicit and listen good input from all corners of this fractured nation and lead by example

I aint got no time for obvious gate-keeping and blatant sychophancy
