No, they're not. They are a mixture of Nubians and Arabs. Only the Bejas are Cushitic, but they're a tiny minority
Only Beja's are Cushites in Sudan. The rest are wax kale
All of this nothing but a pipe dream
North East Africa. We have some cultural and religious similarities and plus, a good chunk of Horn Africans have roots in Sudan anyway.
