Somalia picked Osmanya alphabet over Latin?

What Somalia be like today if it choose osmanya alphabet over crappy Latin script. Somalia would have been second country in Africa with it own unique alphabet. Do you think Osmanya have been written alongside Arabic (as we are in the Arab League).

Other Clans Would Veto It For Sure, Borame Script Was Only Taught In That Town Likewise With Kaddare In What Ever Town It Was Put Down In Osmanya Would Be Nice Plus It Was The Only Widespread Script In Somaliyee At The Time But The The Other Daroods And Irir/Samaale Would Not Let This Happened Now Or Ever In Million Years.

Since Latin script dominate the world of technology and science, it was the right decision to adopt this purely for convenience.

Can you explain to me the Latin Alphabet ain't used in places like Greece,Bulgaria,Armenia & Georgia and even a tiny island like Maldives don`t use the Latin Alphabet.

Quite the Islamist.
Far wadaad looks prettier and would be much more easier to implement, with few tweaks to accommodate the sounds/letters unique to our language. Osmanya kinda looks the scripts the xabashis use now that I think about it.

Why does Somali flag have a star in it?

For what reason? Is it not a pagan symbol
It's a motif from the Somali Youth League flag symbolising the different regions of partitioned Somaliweyn. Unlike the current flag, there used to be five stars representing British Somaliland, French Somaliland (Djibouti), Italian Somaliland, NFD, and Somali Galbeed. Mohammed Liban, the designer of the current flag, presumably simplified this design by making it a single star rather than several where each point symbolises a different region.
