People in the olden days before the war used to be proud and honest. Even if they were broke they would never beg and would share what little they had with their neighbours and guests. I admire your thinking but there's no standard based curriculum for the all the states. I think Putland objected to it. FGS is still learning how to walk even though we've had 3 presidents since the transitional gov. We need to speed up the statebuilding and finish what's left.

1. Finish the constitution together with the states and let people that are free of the khawarij vote

2.Integrate the military and police and make them come under the right ministry. States can/should have daraawish.

Reconstruction, education and developement will come after these basic functions are met.

What i wrote wasn't about their foreign policy per se rather how they treat other countries and how selfish they really are in contrast to how benevolent just and sympathetic they potray themselfs to be. I'm not here saying that somalis are angles or anything and to be honest it's completely natural that they act the way they do after living in anarchy for thirty years. They have expericenced infrequent drought floods and flash floods. There are no roads and they had thirty years of stagnation in devolpment. There is no police or hospitals so how are people supposed to act normal after all this. Menwhile the west which has more the 50% of world wealth safety and security people are acting more civilized.


Rather than getting a crash course in western ethics and morality how about we start with providing safety, security, healthcare roads and devolopment for starters.

Read my whole response before you bring your shuban. There is no such thing as western ethics. There is anarchist morals like you mentioned in Somalia for survival and there is reer magaal law with stability and low corruption. It's the fitra and natural disposition of a human being to want development and stability and it can only be achieved when people don't have a selfish anarchist survival mindset. I'd open-air jail everyone older than 25. They can't be saved. Any babies they make will be taken away from them and will be raised by families/government in the new Somalia. Old Somalia will be their open air jail in a small section of the country. The land will be taken over by New Somalia once the last person dies. They can live their lives as normal without technology or TV or any contact with new Somalia. But they are old Somalia. Let them die off. You can mold the under 25s into decent people who will say please and thank you and who want democratic elections and will find it reprehensible to steal government money and who will hate corruption.
