Firmly against free movement of ppl and common currency. Free trade is disadvantegous for us since we have no real industry. But I don't see no real harm or merit in joining this organisation.

Only positive part is that EAC is an organisation in its infacy, if it achieves creating economic growth in the region. Joining it later on would be impossible. So kinda hard to make up my mind on this.

This decision is starting to warm up to me. Somalia’s main focus after security is economic growth and I can definitely see that happening at a much faster rate under this community. At the same time, a bunch of Bantus having access to our coastline isn’t a good idea to me but we will see

It's either Ethiopia or the EAC. I personally would rather all of our economic & political institutions be tied to Ethiopia, but 5 years of arse licking Abiy&Isias and providing cannon fodder for their Crusade in Tigray got us f*ck all in return.
