According to this analysis(which may or may not be correct, don’t take this at face value) using GDP per capita as a ranking system Afghanistan is 1, followed by 9 different Sub-Saharan African countries, South Sudan, Niger, DRC, the usual ones.

Somalia is ranked no.11 with a GDP per capita of 729 USD.

I believe our true ranking is lower on the list, maybe number 20 or so; The list ranks Chad, Liberia, and Sudan as richer than us in GDP per capita which I simply don’t believe.

Yeah, unfortunately our image is still stuck in 1992 and people think we’re worse than Sudan or Afghanistan.

Sudan is not better than Somalia, theyre going through their own 91' but with way more bloodshed
