Somalia is joining the EAC what do y’all think ?

I wouldn't mind if it was economic trade deals.
But EAC's goal is to unify into a single Bantu majority Christian state. Somalis should not forfeit sovereignty to this.

Aid has been flooding our country and destroying local economy. Somalia needs protectionism right now to grow it's industries. Joining a league of nations with 50-60 million population each with larger economies flooding our country with their goods would be even more devastating.

It's a bad deal for somalia all ways

We can leave anytime. Also none of the major countries want to become a federation and lose their sovereignty.

It’ll be like the EU and we’ll become an important player within it. Somali population will increase a lot over the next few decades so it should be them worrying about migration rather than us
