I read that wiki as well. This is talking about the Issa who settled in Tadjoura. Ofc people living in afar sultanate would recognise the afar sultan. The Afars living in ciise lands recognise the Ugaas also.

At no point did Issa itself be a part of afar and vice versa. Issa used to take part as mercs in afar armies and vice versa. You think we were constantly chopping each other heads off for some 800 years?
