I can see the wisdom behind Boqor Osman and Sultan of Warsangeli for preferring their emirate status then joining this pan-somali nonsense, they knew the south would drag us down, these southerners were going to be like south africa with minority italian rule, now they put us all into their trusteeship status. If Boqor Osman and Sultan of Warsangeli were not exiled and put into house arrest to 'warn' our future generation their making a huge mistake with pan somalism.

Tbh I kind agree that the Somali people weren't ready to unite because the Somali people wasn't in a united state before the colonization and uniting people under one banner while still believe in tribalism is unworkable.

Personally I love Somali people to be united but we can't expect this to happen fast it will take long time until Somali people can forget tribalism to nationalism.

How could we have united central govt in past. With country less than couple million spread thinly throughout big country as nomads where families goes days without seeing someone else.
