Somalia has the 2nd highest rate of under 5 mortality, but this has been slowly declining.

If Somalia manages to halve its under 5 mortality over the next decade, population growth would speed up.

BTW, under 5 mortality slows Somalia's population growth by ~ 10%. It is not the massive drag some here think it is.
