Somalia is ranked number in countries with people that die from pollution!

Somalia needs a better waste management system.

It's because the cities are over run with Badiye people who do not know about cleanliness and recycling lol.

Plus the city people simply don't care, it just stems from laziness and lack of accountability.

It did during the Siad Barre days, they even had a regiment, I forgot the name of it, but it sounded really funny. It started with an M

He just got a bunch of the ciyaal suuq losers, gave them uniforms and made them literal garbage men lol, they would go around the city they were posted in and clean.

Much of the waste can be recycled if sorted correctly by the citizens.
Organic waste can be converted into gas and other materials such as plastics and other waste can be burned in an incinerator and converted into electricity through steam generators.. The technology is available but it's a matter of economy.. Since Somalia doesn't have an effective government I'm not sure if they'll ever get rid of this pollution issue.

I agree, what's stopping them from doing that now? But they use their time to skin bleach and tahriib lol. Whose fault is that?

It's due to jahilnimo.. They don't know even waste can generate wealth...If the government built a waste to energy plant it would automatically pay it self off through the income from the produced electrical power.. Some of the waste heat can be used to heat up water for hospitals or in any other institution where hot water is needed.
