Somalia needs to sign up a coach from one of the top footballing nations like Portugal or Italy if we want to ever qualify for a major tournament.

I'm holding onto hope that we will have a Somali team in the 2030 WC.

That is decades away in football years and with a new stadium, the Somali league getting better by then and the diaspora academy players joining the national team set up, I think it's possible.

Mind you we have a gym for our national team and 3x WC qualifiers Ghana does not.

But we will get humiliated at the WC and become laughing stocks.

Somalia needs a whole revamp when it comes to its football association. It’s been how many years since Somalia been in any competitive tournament. Expect this to be like for another decade until we finally get diaporans who are rejects from their western country join Somalia
