We smoked Eritrea and Tanzania but got smoked by Kenya and Burundi????

Much better showing than our soccer team.

Update: actually watched the game, our team wasn't even that bad. we honestly had some of the most talented players in the tournament, we just didn't play well as a team

funny enough I found out about sspot one night after watching these games. I remember the commentators saying how the Somali government was planning on switching focus to basketball instead of soccer if the Somali basketball players keep succeeding. They're bringing Somalis from canada and the US who play college basketball to compete for them. Next year if they keep improving we might have a chance inshallah

I remember they had a star PG who was carrying the team. I have talent for basketball and someday might join the Somali league.

We actually have a good line up, our big mans aren't as big as we wanted but 6'6 - 6'8 is decent. They're not muscular but they have enough shuluq on them to dominate the post. Everyone else is in the 6'1 - 6'5 range and can't do much in the post. This may seem bad compared to the US and the other giants but it's more than enough to become the giants of FIFA Afro-Basket

Guys I want to get into basketball. (Watching) but I don’t know how to tbh. It’s not the same. I ain’t got a local team to support or anything and I don’t like watching random games without caring who wins.

I got 2k and tried making a character but I ain’t know what all the positions mean. Im a football lad but I don’t mind basketball its pretty fun

Basketball is one of the most fun sports, I recommend you start playing the game first at a local court or something. I got into basketball only since January. You'll be trash the first few weeks or month but it's easy to catch on eventually. As for watching I recommend just picking a team in the league that you just like, and root for them. OR pick a player you connect with and choose his team.

I play for fun sometimes in the court. Our local court round here is concrete though. U.K. love the footy more than bball.
