Somalia and Somaliland conflict airspace and E visa dispute and more

So who will win the LATEST spat conflict
So far the federal goverment is winning since it made sure the Emaraatis Enforced Mogisdishu policy. How are we standing with the airspace I think the federal goverment is also winning there . I think if we are honest the federal goverment of Somalia is leading two nill. I saw today hirsi haji ali calacaalin and said hsm said he wouldnt use pressure on us . What are they pathetic my lord . Wadanka inad kala gooysaad rabta. Wa in xita lugu karbaasha. If u don’t fall in line .

The world remit owner is attempting to organize a combined assault on the e-visa chargeback violation which breaches Mastercard and visa rules. Basically he’s saying that the FGS is not allowed to refuse refunds for people that are being “forced” to pay for the e visa on arrival. So Somalis travelling should report this misuse of authority to their banks or credit card holders.

As you said it’s 2-0 currently, but if action is taken by visa and Mastercard then it’ll be 2

Either way it’s only a matter of time before Somali airlines is back in action

The FGS easily since they are the internationally recognized government and there's rumors of single entry meaning they soon plan to make all flights land in Muqdisho before flying to other cities like Garowe Hargeisa and Bosaso. What could PL and SL even do to stop it?

It's an internationally recognized government mandated charge meaning its a valid charge. Tf could mastercard and visa even do that wouldn't affect travelers?

Somaliland has one option to do and that is if they ban Fly dubai from entering Somaliland. thats the only thing they can do , but i dont think they can do that because the UAE owns berbera there for they cant do this , the UAE has them by the balls they have to look down and accept hassans karbaash.

Then that would only affect people travelling to Hargeisa and would create pressure for themselves and plus UAE wouldn't punish them if they tried.

not really ethiopia doesnt impose these E visa on Hargeisa so every one would then just use Ethiopian airlines ,,. the sepratists care more for their image then what is practical so , they have nothing to lose now they have been humuliated that is their last card

They have been given a deadline and there is negotiating now.

I'm seeing rumours that Ethiopian Airlines will accept Somaliland IDs, but I don’t think that’s true. Ethiopia would gain more by siding with the FGS, since passengers avoiding Somalia’s visa would instead fly into Ethiopia, pay for a visa, spend a bit in the local economy, and then cross the border. Mogadishu is far more valuable than Hargeisa, so it would be stupid for Ethiopian Airlines to risk having their license suspended. Somaliland could actually come out on top if they weren’t so emotionally stupid. All they need to do is make a backroom deal with HSM.

they cant make a deal they have been screwd twice remember they had an agreement hsm signed with them over the airspace but he fooled them , so why would they make an agreement with him

this is what tthey agreed on in 2014 about 11 years ago
    • The parties agreed to nominate a Joint Air Traffic Control Board to be established within 45 days.
    • They agreed to appoint an ad-hoc technical committee, composed of four members (two from each party) whose task is to prepare the Terms of Reference for the Air Traffic Control Board.
    • The Board was to be headquartered in Hargeisa (the capital of Somaliland) per previous Istanbul meeting (7-9 July 2013) where the parties agreed the body would be based there. E
  • They also committed to continue dialogue, to act in good faith, peaceful resolution of disputes, to cooperate. S

  • The parties agreed that a joint body to control the airspace of Somalia and Somaliland would be

, this is what they agreed om , and Hsm tricked them later on so why would they make deals with them

the only option for them is to stop working with UAE
Ethiipia would love this though

FlyDubai also accept Somaliland ID from someone I know who travelled recently.

Airlines have no system for checking Visa. Border control is done at the port of entry.
