Are there are smoking bans in public places anywhere in Somalia? Or are they nonexistent?

Are Somalis even big on cigarettes? I wouldn't think so. Here, the only old Somali guy I know who smokes is a friend's dad. One person. Not even popular with young people. The herb and alchy on the other hand

Cigarette smoking is very common among Somalis.

But in the West, weed and alcohol are much more popular among all age groups and sexes (especially alchy)

Yes, but you'd think someone would. Weed, alchy, the occasional tripper (drugs) is all I've seen. No khat or cigs (one).

It's a social drug. You'll rarely see someone chewing by themselves. As for cigarettes, it's more common among youth in Canada than in the US. It's not a big deal up here. I see Somali females walking around with cigs in their hands all the time. Only the hijabis hide it but not because of social pressure.

Interesting. I guess it's not huge here but I have nothing to compare it to.v I like the occasional smoking gif lol but ciggys are just nooo.

Shisha aside, chewing + smoking sounds awful, forget it. I was gonna joke "quick someone roll them a blunt and call it a day ", but Idk if that's technically any better
