Somalia should be realistic about having normal ties with Israel. The benefits out-weigh all the negatives as-long as Somalia gains the following from Israel.
1. Our environment is Similar so knowledge transfer on water-farming technology, between both sides is mutually beneficial
2. Our business community need to upgrade their business practise/management, The Jews are only 15 million world-wide yet own 25% of the world wealth(combine all their billionaires globally). Their always among and leading the top 10 billionaires in europe-russia-america-australia-canada
3. Education cross-exchange. They are not the founders or philosophers of various STEM subjects but they are the 'masters' in terms of their nobel peace prize(25%) are linked to jews.
4. Security. It's well known their Mossad is pound 4 pound the best security intelligence in the world. Their IDF are ranked 3rd or 4th Globally but pound 4 pound is probably no 1.
5. History preservation. The Jews have held onto their history for 4000 years, this is an amazing feat considering 3000 years they were in exile either in the mid-east or europe. We need to learn their techniques and apply it to our own future survival.
6. We can help Palestine when we ourselves are Strong, we can't do nothing 4 them in our current state anyways.
The Negative.
1. Palestine. The liklihood of palestine/israel ever reaching a peace is futile and won't happen, Judgement day appearing first is more realistic. Any diplomat who resolves their 70 year conflict will probably be seen as a 'messiah' in diplomacy to be studied by all for centuries to come.
2. We don't need to learn Israel 'politics' becuz they have an atrocious track record which I sum up to 'loss of institutional memory' due to exile, something I fear for our people in current exile.
3. We must not normalize any relations with them without getting those knowledge transfers, we don't want a relationship like they have with other African countries. We must reject if they come along with the western model of sitt there and be poor and compliant and stick to 'aid dependence' while black-listed from nation building 'loans'.
All Israel wants is more support in U.N or at least 'neutrality' when their nightmare is raised up in the general assembly. They also want strong muslim countries emerging who can pressure Palestine from the 'outside' to take a deal rather then continue this madness.
