Exactly. We can’t have this ‘split power’. A complete victory is required. In my opinion this is only accomplishable by the hawiye. How would Darood ever return to Xamar, thereby the base of power in Somalia? It’s never happening. They have been cleansed from Galkayo to Kismayo. Either split the country or we have to envisage hawiye dominance like how the Oromo are now taking over Ethiopia as you can’t keep the majority down all the time. Eventually they’ll either destroy the country or take it over and we can move on peacefully.
People think I hate qabiils but it’s just political and a view to the future of Somalia as a stable country even if the elite is dominated by a specific clan many countries succeed like this.

but D&M as a confederation probably have bigger numbers than Darood but who doesn’t. Even Dir probably do. With D&M however they’re splintering as the state develops and many clans are going back to their original abtiris.
you can’t really disagree with history. Darood have no history of successful leadership. This isn’t because they are inherently deranged but it’s because of their numbers.

Another aspect you're disregarding is thinking that you'll be allies because you share a common ancestor. Look at Somalia today, 4.5 turned out to be an unholy alliances for many clans. If/once *multiparty* 1m1v comes into fruition, you'll see people from different clans collaborating.
