MJ do have history in C/Caziiz tho and it’s their main hub in Xamar. But the economy is pretty much split between Harti abgaal and Wacaysle with the former taking a larger slice.

Dope. C/Casiis is the best neighborhood in my opinion. I went Xamar once and I think I’d rank it as C/Casiis, X/weyne, and Shangaani as the nicest spots.

Xamar is still the greatest Somali city bar none and the most bustling business hub despite its security issues as well as the place most foreign investment still ends up due to corruption. Not to mention that it's in the more fertile riverine south and not far from a place like Afgooye. Until there's some big paradigm shift somehow it's always going to boast the largest population.
Honestly, I can't truly say. I'd probably take my money to Nairobi and Somali business interests there like around Eastleigh. Kenyans have that British rule of law going and the West (Brits) still keep a close grip on the place and help ensure its continued stability. Somalia has lots of opportunities but it still has serious issues regarding rule of law, honoring contracts (at least to foreigners) and even stability to some extent. Things are gradually getting better, though.

On a serious note Bosaso and Galkacyo both add up to 1 million add the reer miyi and the big cities like Garowe, Qardho, Galdogob, Burtinle, and Carmo they'd probably ad up to another million and a half at least. The mid size cites and the coastal communities are about 500k so I think Puntland is around 3 million. Not even a tribalist but this is my estimation.
Plus Lasanod's population before the war was at least 400,000. Besides, Buuhoodle and Badhan are also at least 200,000 or more each.
We need the government of Puntland to issue population census and then put this new census nonsense to bed.
