Somali word for bread

I've only lived in Awdal and also Diridhaba but that was when I was 4 or younger, we use Furinka instead of Rooti in my house, not sure if it's old Somali word, I know it isn't oromo, amharic, Arabic or Hindi.

Nah but I see why you called it rooti ur people are Indian origin

I was born and bred in Hargeisa and always used Furin/Furun
