Somali word for bread

Kibis comes from the root word khubz which is Arabic for bread. In my house we call bread ceesh or 3eish which is another Arabic word for bread, Yemenis use 3eish as well whereas khubz is used by Egyptians and levantines. I suspect we adopted khubz from the *short* Egyptian involvement in waqooyi whereas ceesh from Somalis that frequented Aden

Have you been or lived in SL ? Cu I never heard of that word being used
I've only lived in Awdal and also Diridhaba but that was when I was 4 or younger, we use Furinka instead of Rooti in my house, not sure if it's old Somali word, I know it isn't oromo, amharic, Arabic or Hindi.
