They’re older. Contrary to popular belief, Boomers and Gen X odeys and Habars aren’t as anti-IR as the younger generation of Somali men who only hate it for women as they’re mate guarding. The older gen simply dislike it for cultural reasons but are rather chill about it as long as the man is Muslim and from a good family. You’d never hear a man from let’s say my dad’s gen calling a woman a D-word for having a halal marriage with a Muslim man even if he’s not Somali. That’s the antics of the young and dumb.

Out of line, little sis. Let's not rag on Pashtuns. They're a sweet and kind people who, in my experience, tend to be very welcoming and brotherly toward Somalis due to their zeal as Muslims.
