It is a dead giveaway anytime you hear a somali talk about Somaliland. They happen to be exclusively Isaaq. Others mention their own city and do not make Somaliland project to be one that defines them as Somalis. Straight up, they say I am from Borame, or I am from Laascaanood, etc. Each somali clan in the North lives in their historical region and the rest of Somalis treat them as such. Somalis from the North. Somaliland this and SOmaliland that happens to be the obsession of one tribe members, nobody else is as obsessed.

Pipe it down nin yohow, gaar ahaan when you are among Somalis, you are just another member from Isaaq tribe. Nobody cares about anything else. I am sure always you are treated as a Somali because you are Somali. Take it easy.
