Local Somalis in Isiolo county have had attacks by Samburu bandits the past 2 days who attacked Somalis, stole 200 camels and killed 3 of them at Mulango in Isiolo County.
The Somalis have resorted to Riots in the streets as of now due to them being sidelined and security not being guaranteed as 2nd class citizens. All the while Samburu are entitled to own rifles and ammunition when Somalis are not

It’s Wild West out there sxb this people are still cawaan and are armed with Ak47 and G3s. Samburu vs Turkana, borana vs samburu, borana vs rendile, borana vs turkana, turkana vs pokot pokot vs samburu and many other tribes. All this small tribes have warriors that are strictly created for raiding and preventing enemy raiders from attacking the tribe. They’re still Doing the old camel and livestock stealing the Somalis did Back in the day. The Somalis currently in isiolo area are not the usual armed somali clans from garissa wajeer or mandera but small families from each clan that first settled there as business people or as British workers like the harti and isaaq. They’re from ajuuran, dhulbahante, isaaq, asharaf, ogadeen, baalcad absame and so on and are not wild reer badiye clans. They live in the city and own camels in the outskirts and badiye with few herders hired or from their families how they gonna fight a whole tribe that’s out there in the wild with guns?
