Somalis need to back off these western made media’s. We need our own transnational news like Al Jazeera but for Somalis to push our causes and interests around the world.

We need our own Twitter, to push Somali political debates. It will naturally become less about just our tribe this or your tribe that. When a massive political forum is created it creates a fertile landscape for Radical ideologies to gain widespread popularity. Somalis back home will be exposed to new forms of Somaliweyn ideology as well as whatever else.

Somalis already have this and its the makhayad or FKD. Its only beta male diaspora kids that have trouble making eye contact that need to hide behind anonymity.

That’s assuming you are around Somalis daily but true. However 90% of political discourse in the modern world and propaganda is spread through the internet Somalis need to catch up.

We need a cultural revolution to bring Somalis together first, because at the moment we are extremely divided across clan lines.

There is no cohesion, no loyalty and a lack of shared interests beyond the basic, sub, sub, sub ……… clan interests.
