Fyi, you may want to broaden your horizon geographically and look for a Somali man in other continents. In my area (Midwest USA), people meet through acquaintances. One of my former schoolmates was meeting single Somali girls in Canada and USA through acquaintances, especially through older single and married Somali women who somehow knows who to contact in other states and provinces. Like I told you before, broaden your geographic areas and do the networking through older Somali women. Good luck!

Honestly at that point it’s better to go back home and marry a younger guy who’s normal, intelligent and that you can co parent with who wants to live abroad.

I would just pick the one who has the most potential to have a good job and career and sponsor them, that way even if it doesn’t work out you can still get spousal support and maybe a decent father for your child.

There are plenty of stories of men abandoning their families when things go wrong, no woman hopes for divorce but even if she’s the best kind of women you can’t control how a human being will be. The one thing you can control is who you marry

Do you expect the women to do like the previous generation where worst case scenario the guy divorces, then she has to pretty much be the breadwinner and the only parent involved and has to be the man and the woman at home?

Why is it sad? You guys talk about going back home to get married all the freaking time!

The only reason you guys feel contempt was because I said not to marry a bum.

I’ve heard horror stories from girls, like this girl from Toronto who married and sponsored her distant cousin, didn’t have much education or skill and pretty much mooched off her and refused to work even after he could legally work. And she ended up having to pay $13,000 he received in social assistance while pregnant with his 2nd child!!


So yes it’s better to marry the cream of the crop than have to go through that shit
