I didn't like the show either for it's very unrealistic portrayal of the average lives of a Mogadishuian student. But Somali sheikhs seriously are piss-taking. This is due to the fact that the average Somali household now has access to entertainment from all over the world, unless Somalia plans to completely ban the internet. It is also worth noting that other Somali channels, such as Xogmaal Media, Astaan, Horn Cable, and Universal TV, have similar themes in their shows. In fact, some of these channels even translate foreign shows into Af Somali that have no relation to Islam or our daqan, yet they have never faced opposition. Therefore, it is reasonable to question whether these concerns are truly for the greater good of the Somali people or if this is a power struggle to manipulate and instigate the public for private gains.

There are some people who wash their hands for no reason at times. It's halal and sunnah to keep clean but doing it to much can mean you have some time of disorder. Having a disease or disorder is not haram and nobody is saying that the concept of more wives is a disease but re-iterating multiple times or all the time even you would consider a disease.

This show is great and shouldnt be shut down when we have naked Bollywood and Turkish dramas dominating Somalia’s airwaves. Its simply due to Bile TV being bullied by their competitor Astaan who held the TV market for years.
My take is I think the Sheikhs were paid by rival film companies in Somalia
